My hamster is missing?

Help me!!! I just went home to find out my hamster was missing. I have one cat I checked her teeth but there wasnt blood. How could I find her she is a dwarf hamster.

Get a bucket with a ramp leading up to it. Put enough bedding in it so when your hamster falls in it is soft but not too much so that she can climb out again. Chances are if you hamster has a gone a couple days without food she is hungry and will smell the food. Put treats on the ramp and she will climb up it and then fall into the bucket. My hamster got out once and was gone for 2 weeks! My parents had given up but I hadn't. She ran up to my dad in the garage one night. She was really skinny but she was still ok. So don't give up yet. I hope you find her and I know what it feels like to got through this!

Reply:my hamster was missing too, but we found her by setting traps where we would put food on the block of wood.


the wood was like the stairs %26amp; then when she walk up %26amp; upper she would get trap b/c the wood lead to the bucket
Reply:make sure you have checked every room in the house, than make sure that you didn't leave any doors open, such as your cage, front door, garage, etc. than if you cant find your hamster from there make lost pet signs. Im sure you will find him!
Reply:I had this same experience, well I didn't have a cat,


but when my hampster escaped, I put some hampster food on the floor, and when it came out to eat, i placed a cardboard box over it trapping it, and then i lifted up the box and I quickly grabbed her. As far as your cat goes, I would put it outside or in a carrying cage til you catch it.
Reply:check every spot in the house, my cat knocked over my hamsters cage twice when i was gone and we found him under my bed in the corner, he will b somewhere hiding where the cat cant get him.
