It's my most frequent dream! I hate them! I dream that some/most of my teeth fall out and i'm holding them in my mouth and i can feel them connecting with the teeth that are still there and i can feel the gaps where they used to be with my tongue. it feels so real! i then spit the teeth out into my hand and panic about the fact that i am now missing quite a few of my teeth for no obvious reason. the very thought of losing any of my teeth is like fingernails on a blackboard for other people; it goes right through me. if i can find out why people have this kind of dream then maybe i can do something about stopping it. Does anyone have any ideas about what this could mean?
What does it mean when you keep dreaming that some of your teeth have fallen out?
Does the tooth fairy give you money for them in these dreams, cos' if so, awesome.
Reply:Hi :)
This dream keeps occuring for me too, but only very recently.
Dreams of loose teeth, rotting teeth, or losing teeth are linked with stress and anxiety.
It's your subconcious telling you that you are afraid you are losing control of a situation or that you are afraid that people are thinking less of you.
In my case, it was because I was stressed over my mock GCSE exams - try not to worry too much when you get the dreams again in May!
Hope this helps xxx
Reply:I used to get the same dream aswell, my teeth would come out and I could feel the empty socket in my gums, first it was just a few then i would panic and feel the rest with my tongue and then they would get loose and come out too.. so I try and push my teeth back in, they would go back in but were loose and were moving around in my mouth its really really bad.. its such a horrible feeling I hate this too, sorry can't help u but would love to know what it means aswell!!
Reply:Do you think it might just be time to head for your dentist for a checkup? A clean bill of healthy chompers could well help your subconscious mind to accept the fact!
However, I hope you lose these awful dreams soon. Good luck!
Reply:In my case it is not a dream.
Reply:You get two set of teeth in your life. One to chew your food and one to chew your baby's food. Before life expectancy met with civilization the end of your life was visible form when you lost your second set of teeth. See Abraham Lincoln and his famous wooden teeth. When you loose your first set of teeth the "werid feeling/trauma" sticks with you. Genetic memory makes this and other moments like it (sexual discovery) notable in your subconscious. Past life remembrance of the event engrave themselves on you. Do better by asking yourself if God would approve and do likewise.
Reply:Dreaming about teeth falling out represents feelings of insecurity or inadequacy, and such dreams often occur at transition times in a person's life. The dream could also highlight anxieties of getting older.
Reply:For some reason, this is one of the most common dreams there are, and almost everyone has this dream on occasion. The dream is about fear of losing control of one's life. Having teeth is associated with biting, ie defending yourself; getting what you want (a bite of the pie),; keeping undesirable people and things away (baring your teeth). In this dream, you feel you are having difficulty in these areas. When life suddenly seems very stressful, and you're not sure you can cope with everything that's coming at you, you will tend to have this dream. It's one of those dreams that serves another purpose -- you are so relieved when you wake up! And thus you are reminded that in fact you CAN deal with the situation, your teeth are NOT falling out. In a way, then, this is not a bad dream. It reflects worry but is also a reminder that in fact we are not as out of control as we fear.
Reply:I read somewhere years ago that it can be stress related. I also read that it can mean a new start??
Reply:Yes i know what this means but its abit too much to tell you this... I had a dream having my teeth fallen out.. but if you really want to know... ....
