More than 4 wisdom teeth?

about 3 years ago i had 1 wisdom tooth removed then i had the other 3 removed as i was still having really bad pain.

i have been fine but just recently i am getting exactly the same pain in my right hand jaw(cant really tell if its upper or lower)

is it possible that i have a 5th missed wisdom tooth?

More than 4 wisdom teeth?
I doubt that. It's more likely that when they extracted the teeth originally they missed a fragment. Getting wisdom teeth pulled isn't simple work. I'd go back to the dentist and see if you can get xrays to identify the culprit.
Reply:There may be a piece of the tooth or bone in your jaw. I just had a molar removed and the dnetist said that I may have a piece of bone emerge in a few years and just to come back and have them take it out.
Reply:Most likely u don't have a 5th wisdom tooth. Extra teeth in the mouth can happen and it is called a "supernumerary" tooth, but probably not. A bone fragment left from the first time around is a possibility. Sometimes it will feel llike the lower when it is an upper problem or vice versa. That is called "referred pain". Another possibility is another tooth is the culprit. U have to see ur dentist asap so he can take an x-ray and find out exactly whats going on.
Reply:It is possible, but very rare. Yet it can be stuck food. I got an apple piece stuck in my gum, and it really hurt. I don't know about wisdom teeth (the pain) because i'm 10, but i'm getting mine out next year =(
