i went to the dentist yesterday and he told me he could file/shave down my teeth if i wanted. the reason he said this is because i was born missing two teeth. so i have my front two teeth and then my k-9's right next to it so i look slightly vampireish haha. my teeth are small so its hardly noticeable but i was considering having them corrected. i don't know how it would look since my teeth are small and my teeth are straight but its just looks a little awkward. anyone have this done before with tiny teeth? how does it look? thanks.
Question about shaving or filing down teeth?
We have done this to alot of our patients and it looks good when we are done. You don't have to file down alot of the tooth for it to make a difference.
Reply:Sometimes we can mildly recontour the cuspids and maybe even add a little bonded composite to them to make them look more like incisors. It looks a whole lot better than before.
