My friend is missing a piece of tooth, but he doesn't want to get it fixed?

It's not that I don't find it pretty, I'm not kind of person.. But I feel really bad for him, I think he doesn't feel to well about it also, It's like a fracture in one of his front teeth. It's pretty noticable, I feel bad for him and wonder why he doesn't get it fixed, why is he doing this to himself, I asked him this one day that he didn't felt bad that it's so noticable , but strong as he is, he just doesn't care :/ Should I make him fix the tooth, I really think he feels bad about it, and when my best friend feels bad; I do also :/. So should I ask him to let it get fixed, or would that make me a pushover? Once again, I don't think it's gross, I just feel bad for him. thanks for answers.

I recently had an accident and had to get my 3 front teeth redone, (porcelain veneers and a root canal had to be done) and my total bill is about 6500$$ VERY expensive!!!


so maybe its not that he doesnt want to get it fixed he just may not be able to afford it right now..
Reply:It's his mouth and his decision. If he's in pain, he should definitely get it taken care of, or if he doesn't like the way it looks. Otherwise just back off and try to not stare at it too much. Lol.

Reply:Do you know for sure if it bothers him? Even though you said it doesn't bother you, it obviously does, because you went out of your way to ask about it on the internet. If he has the money to get it fixed, and he cared about it as much as you do, he would probably get it fixed. Its his mouth, let him decide.

I have to be gassed and novacained everytime I go there for no matter what procedure! LOL
