my friend has rotting teeth. he is missing some and they are all black. i noticed his 2 sisters and mom have it too but not as bad. could it be genetic? or is he using drugs?
Black teeth...runs in family?
Not genetic, just poor oral care - obviously his mother doesn't take care of her own teeth and subsequently hasn't taught her children to take care of their own teeth, hence they are all suffering from severe tooth decay.
Reply:Maybe as a family they don't use dental care products?
Reply:They probably just don't brush their teeth. Plaque turns all kinds of colors.
Reply:they dont like brushing their teeth.
Reply:They just don't go to the dentist.
Reply:It is not genetic. It is basically due to poor oral hygiene and malnourishment.
Reply:ALOT of people don't know about diseases of the teeth. But, it's more than likely a genetic issue. I have a friend who has that along with his sister, brother, and mother. His sister never had kids because if she did there would be a very high chance that they would have the tooth problem..i don't know what it's called. but yes those kinds of problems do exist.
Reply:There is no dental condition known as ”black teeth”. You can have stained teeth from bad diet and bad habits such as smoking, or your bone may be naturally darker but, they say, there is no medical condition or illness that will make teeth black. However, I did read somewhere that it may be because their kidney is unable to nourish their teeth, turning them black, the color of the Kidneys. That could possibly be genetic.
