I have 2 of my front bottom teeth missing after an accident.
I had to get a temporary flipper (you can take it out) for $500. They look like real teeth too, colored and shaped like my actual ones are. I was supposed to go back and get artificial teeth actually drilled into my gums (ouch!, and their estimate was about $1700 - ouch again!). So I said no thanks, still wearing the temporary. If I get some kind of gum disease from it when I'm older, oh well. Nothing has gone wrong with them currently.
I think prices also differ depending on the area you live in. The price I gave you is in the NorthEast US area. Oh, and get something done soon, before your teeth start moving!
My front tooth is missing need to replace can anyone give me a cost estimate?
150 bucks if there is root to extract.
800-1500 for an implant.
800-1500 for a crown. Report It
Reply:ABOUT RS 10000/- IN INDIAN RUPEE.
Reply:not too much for a pack of chicklets
Reply:25 cents...go get a box of chiclets.
Reply:Ow!!! How did you do that??
That stinks, though, to have a missing tooth
I am not sure, but I think the cost would be around $200-$300
Reply:it depends on what you want and implant, or denture. A implant is permently set in place, and cost around $600
a denture is something that you can pop in and out, that cost about $350
hope that helps, good luck
Reply:$300-$500, but get it fixed. If you don't have the money, a dentist will work something out on a monthly basis.
Reply:It will probably cost you $500 to $600 U.S. I live in New Jersey, where I am a dental technician and own my own laboratory where making 'high quality' full and partial dentures is the principal area of concentration.
My lab bill to a dentist for a 1 tooth partial with 2 clasps to retain it in your mouth would be around $190. The rule of thumb in South Jersey is that the dentist's fee is anywhere from 3 to 5 times the lab bill. You do the math. And that charge from the dentist in based on not having to do any other work, like extracting a root or repairing adjacent teeth.
You may find it more practical, but more expensive to have a crown made to cover anything that remains of your broken tooth, but you're talking much more money. Again, in my area, the dentist's fee for a single crown runs from $1000 to $1500, depending on the dentist.
Even though I make dentures for a living, I have two 3 unit bridges and 3 single crowns in my own mouth. A partial denture is the last thing I'd want for me. No matter how well they fit, the function is nowhere near the same as your own natural teeth, but fixed bridgework and implant work is the next best thing.
