its the bottom left one and it just never came up with the rest? i wonder why? has anyone else had this ist been 4 months since the rest came through. Should i keep waiting or take her to the Doctors?
Hello! my 2 year old daughter is missing a tooth ! is this normal? i mean it just never came up with the rest!
Definately get an x-ray. Now days they can do something about it at an early age so it doesnt get worse with age. I had that problem when I was young and then I ended up in braces for two years. VERY EXPENSIVE! My problem was that I had too much crowding and not near enough room. I had to have 8 teeth pulled before I got my braces so all of my teeth would fit. The teeth were overlapping so much that I had two that just never got to grow in and yes it is very painful after a while! Good Luck with the little one. Take her to the dentist ASAP!
Reply:I wouldn't worry much about it unless she is in or begins to show some discomfort. There is a possibility that the tooth may be wedged against an adjacent tooth beneath the gum surface and unable to rise. This happened to me when I was young. I did not notice it until it was revealed by X-Ray.
