You see a female approx 35...never met before.....she opens her mouth, either to smile...yawn (not covering with hand)....eating.....or even talking..etc.
Just curious about what you thought after you unknowingly visualized the unexspected?
Your first Impression of a Female with a missing front Tooth?
My first impression is sadness for her. I feel sad for her that she probably feels insecure about her appearance. And I would feel bad for her because she most likely can't afford to do anything about it. That would be my FIRST impression. Later after giving it some thought I would feel guilty for judging her and her appearance. Knowing good and well she probably can afford to do something about it and is probably in the process of doing so.
Reply:Hillbilly.
Reply:Must of been a wicked donkey punch! Hard enough to know out the front tooth! DAAAAAAAAAMN!
Reply:Eewww. Total turn off
Reply:I would think that she needed to go to the dentist and get a new tooth.
Reply:"She's a speed freak" in my mind.
Reply:Country roads, take me home, to the place I belong...
Reply:Lower Class. Doesn't take or seem to care about dental health.
Reply:I would thiink that she was poor, and therefore didn't get it fixed yet

I live in Maine....
quite common around here!
LOLOLOLOL
Reply:I would have to say she probably knows how to fight.
Reply:sorta wierd...wonder what happened?
Reply:more space wont get nicked by a tooth if u know what i mean
Reply:Did you encounter her at Walmart or 7-11? She needs a dentist, but is probably too poor to afford one.
Reply:how embarrassing!
Reply:Tragic. I wish I could let her use my dental insurance (if she so wished).
Reply:Definitely not attractive. By the way, I work with a lady that only HAS ONE TOOTH. Upper, anyway. I think she has the bottom one. It's hard for me to take her seriously.
Reply:Well many impressions can be thought of.Maybe she was a boxer or just had a minor accident. If you do decide to date her by any chance, looks should not be the leading factor. But yes part of you wil probably think that it is wierd to be missing a tooth. But don't be afraid to ask her why.... don't bring it up in a random time. Casually ask it or hint it... and maybe even share any experiences like that.
Reply:countrygal with no health insurance
Reply:ewwwwwwwwwww
Reply:She does not have enough money to go to the dentist.
Reply:OMIGOSH!!!!!!!!
Reply:no you need 32 hillbillies in a room for a full set of teeth , id say start looking for prison tattoos
Reply:must have taken a lot of nerves to show in public like that
Reply:It would depend on the rest of her appearance.
1. If she was well groomed otherwise, I would assume that she had recently had an accident of some sort and needed time to heal before having dental procedures or I would assume she was in the process of having dental work done.
2. If her appearance was less than groomed, I would think money was an issue. No one wants to go around with a gap in their smile.
Reply:I think about her smile, looks, body, ect. I know she did not knock her front tooth out on purpose so I not think it is a reflection on her. She may not have the "hundreds of dollars it take to have an Implant.
I wold honestly know a lot more about her before making judgments. I know too many people who lost teeth by accident, or sickness.
Women lose a lot of calcium during and after having children and that is one of the number 1 reasons for many of them losing teeth.
Another think is the world wide attention paid to southerners without teeth or having them missing. this is due to media rhetoric bull but SO many people believe it. Yeah like there are no dentist in "new York,London, Chicago, Ill, Istanbul:):)".
Reply:going by the various answers posted, its obvious that most people havent taken into consideration the obvious. your next question might be....how many people have had wisdom teeth taken out? and did that change their personality? they might not be seen, but they are missing any way you choose to look at it.
how many of you that answered have all your teeth? (teens need not respond)
Reply:My first impression of a female with a missing front tooth would be the same for a male missing a front tooth.
I'd feel compassion and sympathy for them. I'd first give the benefit of the doubt by thinking a restoration of some sort must have failed. (Bridge fell out or injury to the mouth...)
Then I'd think they obviously do not have the means to take care of this unsightly matter or just simply do not know any better. Ignorance can be a painful thing.
I'd make no final judgment because I don't know the person. If a friend, I'd be in the know and then act accordingly.
Reply:In the mountains of West Virginia or Millville, NJ, I wouldn't flinch. Anywhere else - EWWWWWWW!
