My wisdom teeth are growing through but i dont have a dentist?
Why dont' you go to the Dental Hospital? You might have to wait for a couple of hours but hey! it's free.
Reply:I don't understand. You're saying no one will take your money to pull your teeth out? You're not trying hard enough. And by the way, you now need an oral surgeon for that procedure.
Reply:maybe, see your doctor and he might refere you..good luck cos i know how you feel!,had mine taken out while pregnant.
Reply:not sure...but u need to ring round the dentists and try to get one,cos you may need them removing.you will need a dentist sooner or later
Reply:The hospital can't do anything. You have to go a dentist and most likely there going to refer to a oral surgeon. If they are impacted you need to get them out because they can cause serious damage on your other teeth. I'm going threw the same thing right now. The one that is causing my pain they don't want to remove because of nerve damage... I take something to reduce the pain and swelling. Call around and find someone you can go to.
Reply:Ask your doctor, he may refer you to the dental hospital
Reply:yeah go to a%26amp;e they can refere you to an emergency dentist
Reply:Firstly.....wisdom teeth are completely healthy and normal. I myself even have 3! When they were erupting (medical talk for coming up) they were quite sore.

I even had to see my dentist once. The main problem is as they break through the skin, the nerves obviously shoot off pain signals to your brain. Another problem can be minor infection. The infection can be prevented by gargling salt water twice or three times daily.

The pain can be treated with ibuprofen (if you're not allergic) or paracetamol. It's strange that another NHS dentist won't see you. I'm sure there's a legal obligation there somewhere.

If it really is because you missed the first appointment than tell them you had a family emergency or something else.
Reply:Where I live we have a clinic that you can attend you have to get there for 8.30ish to get a chance of seeing a dentist they are national health at least. It might be worth while for you to enquire about such a place near you. look through your local phone directory or on line. Good luck.
Reply:you can go to the hospital, but all they can do is pull your teeth out, they're not like a real dentistry. i suggest you look through every dentist within a 1 hour drive of you, either that, or you will have to go private, but i wouldn't suggest going to hospital unless you really wanted them pulling.
Reply:Shame you can not get to Taunton in Somerset, as there are 2 NHS dentists who are taking on new NHS patients.

You can get to Taunton on a straight though train from nearly anywhere and 1 of this dentist is a 2 minute walk from the dentist but the one I go to is a 7 minute walk, if you think you can get to any of these dentist, I can give you the phone number.

My dentist is the 7 minute walk and she really is great, my other-half did not like dentists and I have got him in there, I now have loads of friends who have registered with Helen as she is so great.
