Too much teeth whitening ouch?

I was sent with a dentists 10% hydrogen peroxide solution for home whitening to do 2 times a day until it runs out, so roughly 20 days. Well I missed a few days and the sheet says do not miss any days! So I made up for it by using the bleach five times instead of two

My teeth hurt today, what should I do? They LOOK fine, and paracetamol helps a little. Will this go away?

Also, my boyfriend wont brush his teeth and says mouthwash is the same thing, and toothpaste and brushing is bad for teeth. how can I encourage him 2 start brushing?

Too much teeth whitening ouch?
oh my god, first of all, is your boyfriend friggin crazy???? i think thtas just his excuse!! if he really thought that then wouldnt he try and stop you from using it seen as he supposidly loves you?? what is he basing this on???

secondly, why would you use it five times a day??? yeah, it might have said "dont mis any days" but im sure it also said "do noyt use more than 2 times a day" and if itm didnt then it friggin should have!

it will go away in a few days, you have just aggrivated your gums and the nerves in them!
Reply:oh no if u miss a day u shouldn't make it up by doing it 5 times a day. just keep on doing it 2 times a day. your teeth hurt because u used it too much times in a day so its like very sensitive now. this should go away in a day or two.
Reply:Tell him to start brushing. Tell him plenty of time.

About your problem, stop doing anything to your teeth. Leave it for the day and tomorrow. Untill your teeth get well. And not feeling hurt anymore. Paracetamol does not really work. I heard that if you keep hold water and a little of salt inside your mouth it will give a relief.
Reply:Why would you bleach 5 times in one day. The dentist should have gone over the bleaching instructions with you...did you not pay attention. Bleaching is great if you follow direction. Bleaching can be done many ways, dentist have their ways...using the bleaching trays at night while a sleep is the way I do it. Bleaching trays need to be in place for a certain amount of time...depending on the strength of the gel. 10% hydrogen peroxide is very high concentration...you will definitely get "zingers" but should go away after you stop bleaching.

Regarding your boyfriend, ask him if he enjoys wearing dentures...he may be getting dentures if he doesn't brush and floss.
