What is a molar? Not teeth.....?

I could use some help. It is for biology. I need to know : What is a molar?" I have looked everywhere I can think of and keep getting the same info. I have found info on millimoles and moles, but feel like I am missing something. I also get info I do not need such as molar (teeth), molar pregnancies,......If you guys could help me out that would be so great. Thank you guys so much!

What is a molar? Not teeth.....?
A mole is a unit of measurement;

Avogadro's Number: 6.022 * 10^23

Used like a dozen is used for eggs, this is used for the number of atoms.

Also called "molar" as in a 1 molar solution
Reply:It's those big teeth with the flat tops.
Reply:Here is the definition:

A body of matter as a whole, perceived apart from molecular or atomic properties.
Reply:Moles are a measurement unit. The easiest way for me to explain it is that if you pick any atom from the periodic table like hydrogen, carbon, sodium or any of them......

1 mole = 6.022 x 10^23 atoms..... so 1 mole of carbon would have a different weight than 1 mole of oxygen ( ex. dozen apples would have a different weight than dozen watermelons). the weights are measured in grams.

but i am not sure if you asked about Molarity? thats a little different.....it's how many moles of something is mixed inside 1 liter of liquid
Reply:Molar is the same as molarity, it is simply a scientific acceptance to use molar in the place of molarity. For example, if something is 1 M, this is said as "One Molar." Molarity describes the concentration in moles of a given molecule in a one liter solution. A simple example of this is a 1 M solution of Cu(II) contains one mole of copper atoms in 1 liter of solution.
