I had adoped a second husky. I had him for one week. I brought him back because my dog that i have now was so jealous. She would not eat and often show her teeth if he got near her. I do have asthma and never really noticed until i adoped the new one. I do not know if because he had been not bathed for sometime before i had got him. I miss him so much it has been a month and he has not been adopted yet. I want him back so much. I do not think the adopted agency would give me him back, since i gave him back. but now i realize how awful i am to try and adopt him and bring him back. He did need lots of training but he always gave kisses to everybody. How can i get overhim. I would like him back, but like i said. do you think she would give him back. oh ya i gave it back to because at the time i just had a pacemaker in and it was to much. I am a litter better now. Do you think there is anything i can say to convince the owner( kinda mean and crabby)
Am missing my adopted husky. very sad.?
I would wait awhile you. You need to make sure this is for sure with out a doubt that this is what you want. Would this be good for you %26amp; the other dog in the house or other people? Wait till you are fully healed its not fair to do that to an animal. They need to go to a home that will keep them for their whole life. Take time %26amp; think it through. Good luck to you
Reply:Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
The worst that can happen is that the owner will say no.
The best......
Reply:Just the fact that you were recovering from surgery and didn't have the health and strength to care for two dogs might be enough to plead your case. However if the dog is loved by someone else, I'm afraid you will have to replace it with another one in order to forget it. I wish you every success. Go for it you have nothing to lose and your dog to gain.
Reply:i say you should at least try because if you love a dog that much you should try to get it back and about the other dog you have to try to make sure they don't fight make sure their both spayed or neutered and when they see each other again if you can get him back hold one in each arm and let them sniff and stuff that should help good luck!
Reply:You could get a friend or family member to go and adopt it from the (crabby) owner. They could then give it to you and she would never know.
Reply:You con ask but they probably will say no.Try a differant dog or maybe you can get your dog a freind like aneighbor or something.dogs bounce back and they will move on if you do.
Reply:dog will be better off with a young family who wants a husky for what it is bred for.... runnning and barking and running and running and running...... if you really are committed to this dog bring proof of your enrollment in obedience classes and show them and also show them how you intend to properly exercise this dog..... "giving kisses" to everybody is not much of a reason to keep a dog
