My rainbow colored Dooney and Bourke zipper broke! About a third of the way through the end, about eight "teeth" are broken off. If I brought it to a tailor, could they just replace the missing teeth, or would I need the entire zipper replaced? My favorite part of this purse is the colored zipper, and I know a replacement would simply be a bland plain zipper. Is it possible to just replace the missing teeth? Thanks so much for any help

take it back to where you got it and they will replace it.
