HELP! getting my adult tooth pulled!?
The best option is an implant. They cost around $1,000 to $1,500, but are not covered by insurance.
Reply:i got my teeth pulled about a year ago and it doesnt hurt..depends on doctor. u can get a fake tooth to replace ur other tooth. idk how much it costs though
Reply:i have heard about how it feels when you get a tooth pulled and everyone has said that they did not feel it.
Reply:i just asked a queation about getting 5 teeth pulled (all adult) and it doesnt hurt but it depends which teeth your getting out, if its the premolars, then u probably should get braces but i guess an implant would be fine
Reply:replacements are expensive, but if you can afford it it is an open option

otherwise i mean i dont worry like that about appearance, but ask your dentist for your options.

and if its an consolation, im 14 and got a root canal today...trust me, you dont have it so bad....
Reply:I had a tooth pulled recently. I'd had several crowns and two root canals on that tooth, so there was nothing else to do. I could have gotten a bridge, which I didn't want, or a titanium implant.

I went for the implant, and it cost $3000. That's what hurt the most.

I didn't take any pain pills after the surgery and it didn't hurt much at all. Stitches were annoying, but they went away.
